Doug Llewelyn is an American television personality, actor, and lawyer. He was born on September 22, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is best known for hosting the television program, "The People's Court" from 1981 to 1993. Llewelyn started his career as an attorney and worked in the legal field before transitioning into the entertainment industry. He has also worked as an actor, appearing in films such as "Reform School Girls" and "The Alphabet Killer". He has also made guest appearances on television shows such as "Dallas" and "Matlock". In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Llewelyn has also written several books, including "Crime is a Game" and "How to Kill Your Attorney".
